This May is National Stroke Awareness month and our Genesis Healthcare team is encouraging patients to take steps to lower their risk of having a stroke.

A few steps that you can take to help prevent stroke are:

  • Exercising regularly & managing your weight
  • Lowering your blood pressure
  • Quiting smoking
  • Eating healthy and keeping active
  • Taking your prescribed blood pressure medicines

April is Stress Awareness Month and we’re encouraging our friends and neighbors to do what they can to maintain a healthy balance in life!
