Genesis Partners to host the Lamar Back to School Bash
Genesis recently partnered with other Community agencies to host the Lamar Back to School Bash at our Lamar Family Care location. Children were given backpacks, school supplies and snacks.
We would like to thank Molina Health Care, DHEC, First Steps of Hartsville, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office and the Local Fire Dept for their partnership.

Genesis Healthcare DONATES TO THE TOWN OF OLANTA
Genesis Healthcare presents a check of $2,500 to the town of Olanta. The funds will be used to help with their Revitalization efforts.
Genesis Healthcare partners with local Garden Club
Howard Nettles – Director of Community Outreach and Marketing for Genesis Healthcare presents a check to the Darlington Garden Club for $500.00. The funds will be used to help sponsor the Garden Club’s upcoming Annual “Card Day” Fundraiser. The Fundraiser provides the organization with the much needed financial resources to fund community projects which improve the appearance of the Downtown area.
Great American Cleanup Initiative
OLANTA, S.C. – The town of Olanta participated in the Great American Cleanup Initiative on March 23 by hosting the Great Olanta Clean Up Day.
Nearly 100 residents and volunteers turned out to support the effort. Dozens of bags of litter were collected over 1.5 square miles.
Students and staff from Olanta Creative Arts and Science Magnet School showed up in great numbers to clean Truluck Park in preparation for the Olanta Easter Eggstravaganza. Howard Nettles of Genesis Healthcare Inc. helped organize the efforts, and the team was instrumental in litter pickup and landscaping.
Florence County Sheriff candidate T.J. Joye worked beyond the three-hour event to help push the projects to completion.
