At Genesis we realize that high school sports can teach our teenagers team work and discipline and we want to keep our local athletes healthy.  We gladly donate to Darlington High School to support their athlete’s sports physicals.  Pictured are Coach Norris, Principal Gehrke and Howard Nettles, our Director of Outreach.

The Girls Scouts of Eastern Carolina will be hosting their Women of Distinction Gala this August. We are happy to contribute toward efforts of supporting our young girls to become future women of distinction.

Genesis Healthcare and the American Heart Association believe all ages should be CPR ready.  We visited Trinity Collegiate School to share these skills with students, and we were impressed with their hard work and interest in knowing how to help others.

Darlington high school students with the school district’s ASCEND Program visited our Darlington location.  Dr. Cohen enjoys sharing with students the details of the medical field and what it is like to be a doctor.  The ASCEND Program is a career readiness initiative that Genesis Healthcare gladly supports.
