Genesis Healthcare hosted its inaugural Lydia Clinical Bus Event on September 17 at Luke Arthur Ballfield, bringing sick visits, new patient visits, and follow-up care directly to rural residents. Fellow team members joined community supporters, including Darlington County Sheriff Michael August and Sgt. Jacob Heatherly, for the event. This outreach marks another step in GHC’s commitment to expanding healthcare access across South Carolina’s rural communities.

Last month, Genesis participated in the Wayne Brothers Health and Safety Event, connecting with employees and promoting the importance of preventive care and overall wellness. During the event, our team provided approximately 40 blood pressure screenings and shared information about Genesis Healthcare’s professional services with around 150 attendees.
Events like these allow us to bring healthcare resources directly into the community, encourage individuals to take an active role in their health, and increase awareness of the services available through Genesis Healthcare.
